The  Lamborghini  Veneno  was  introduced  in  2013  at  the  Geneva  Motor  Show  as  a  highly  limited  production  car  based  off  of  Lamborghini's  most  current  model  at  the  time,  the  Aventador.  Just  five  coupes  were  produced,  three  for  consumers,  and  three  for   Lamborghini  itself.    At  a  price  of  US $4,900,000  (currently  the  most  expensive  production  car  in  the  world),  all  three  were  pre-ordered  almost  immediately.     The prototype, Car Zero, is finished in grey and includes an Italian flag vinyl on both sides of the car. The engine is a development of the Aventador's 6.5 L V12 and produces 740 BHP.    The first Veneno, with red accents, went to Antoine Dominic, owner of Lamborghini Long Island. The second went to Kris Singh, whose 750-hp car was delivered with green accents. Trimmed with white accents and completing the Italian Tricolore, the third model has been caught in Hong Kong en route to Macau where its new owner presumably is. Car Zero, which was the vehicle on display, will be retained by the factory for the museum.    To  finish  it  off,  Lamborghini  came  out  with  the  Roadster,  a  variation  with  a  less   limited  production  number  of  9  units  in  2014.    It has exclusive alloy wheels, Rosso Veneno (red) body colour and 2 bucket seats made in forged composite.
